The SOVA jewelry house presented the second collaboration with Yulia Sanina, the frontwoman of the rock band The HARDKISS.
In the center of the collection is a swallow as a symbol of freedom, liberty-loving and barrier-freeness, both in thoughts and in actions. As Yulia Sanina points out, a swallow is the cosmic scale power in a small body of a bird.
The swallow was inspired by the rock band's album of the same name. The collection includes jewelry made of yellow gold: monoearrings, a necklace, rings, a bracelet and 2 brooches, one of them in silver. To achieve the ideal relief shape of the bird, SOVA jewelers used the laser mounting technique. Each swallow is hand-decorated by the masters using the rhodium technique on the tips of the wings.
The collaboration has a charitable purpose – 5% of the sales of the jewelry collection will be directed to SUPERHUMANS – a modern center for prosthetics, reconstructive surgery and rehabilitation of war victims.
“Our previous collaboration with SOVA was dedicated to the diversity of a woman's beauty, fierce and tender, different and so beautiful. We continue the theme of diverse beauty, freedom, inclusiveness and dedicate the collection to those who are able to overcome everything and become a lighthouse for others. Earthly at first glance, but cosmic in her dreams and strong in her intentions," – shares Yulia Sanina.
"Each of our projects is an in-depth study of the topic with which we work. Before shooting the clip, our team met with SUPERHUMANS wards to understand the problems, feelings and dreams of supers. We immediately felt in which collaboration we could have common points of contact. The iron, freedom-loving swallow is exactly the symbol that perfectly describes supers. The director of the video had the task of emphasizing the individuality of each hero, because the clip depicts both ordinary dancers and supers who have united in one project. Without unnecessary accents, the video shows people who live near us. And our task is to normalize them in life, in advertising, in every media and non-media sphere", – says Anna Koval, commercial director of SOVA.
