Ukrzaliznytsia has introduced three new passenger cars on popular routes
Ukrzaliznytsia has received three more new Ukrainian-made passenger cars, which have already begun operating on routes to Uzhhorod via Kyiv, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhia.
The new cars have been added to trains No. 29/30 (Kyiv–Uzhhorod) and No. 3/4 (Zaporizhzhia–Uzhhorod). This is expected to increase seating capacity on popular routes during the summer season.
The cars are equipped with modern air-conditioning systems, renovated restrooms with changing tables, multi-level lighting, individual power outlets, and USB ports for charging electronic devices. Comfort on the upper berths has also been improved.
According to the company, the railway has already received 15 new passenger cars since the beginning of the year. In total, the government program calls for the delivery of 100 new cars by 2028.
