The Varus chain has opened its first supermarket in Vinnytsia
The Ukrainian retail chain Varus has officially launched operations in Vinnytsia, opening its first supermarket within the “Petrocenter” shopping center.
The concept of the new retail outlet centers on ready-to-eat food options for shoppers. The store features a special Varus Cafe area with a selection of ready-to-eat meals, a separate WOK zone offering Asian cuisine, its own bakery with fresh pastries, and a self-service coffee bar.
In addition to the traditional shopping experience, Vinnytsia residents now have access to courier delivery, quick pickup, and the Scan&Go digital service, which allows them to scan and pay for selected items themselves directly through the company’s mobile app. According to the company, the launch of this location is part of a strategy for large-scale expansion into new regional markets, with a focus on flexible and compact urban store formats.
