The National Bank of Ukraine has updated the hryvnia exchange rate against the dollar and the euro as of April 29
Ukraine’s national currency, the hryvnia, has officially strengthened against the dollar and the euro. This is according to data from the National Bank, updated in the afternoon of April 28.
According to official information released by the NBU, the dollar will become 1 kopeck cheaper on Wednesday. At the same time, the euro will drop by 27 kopecks.
The official exchange rates for Wednesday, April 29, will be:
1 US dollar – 44.07 UAH (44.08 UAH as of April 28);
1 euro – 51.49 UAH (51.76 UAH as of April 28).
Prior to this, the National Bank updated the hryvnia exchange rate for April 27.
As a reminder, the morning of April 24 saw mixed trends in Ukraine’s currency market. While the cash dollar is showing a steady rise of 5–10 kopecks, the euro is losing value significantly at most major financial institutions and exchange offices.
