The NBU lowered the official exchange rates for the dollar and the euro as of September 2

The National Bank of Ukraine has set a new official exchange rate for Wednesday, September 2. The U.S. dollar fell by 6 kopecks to 44.46 hryvnia, while the euro dropped by 10 kopecks to 51.54 hryvnia. The situation on the foreign exchange market remains relatively stable.

As of the evening of September 1, banks are buying the dollar at an average rate of 44.31 hryvnia and selling it at 44.80 hryvnia. The buying rate for the euro at banks is 51.37 hryvnia, and the selling rate is 52.02 hryvnia. On the black market, the dollar is being bought at 44.72 hryvnia and sold at 44.80 hryvnia, while the euro is trading in the range of 51.82–51.94 hryvnia.

At currency exchange offices, the U.S. dollar is bought at an average of 44.31 hryvnia and sold at 44.83 hryvnia. The euro is bought at 51.57 hryvnia and sold at 52.08 hryvnia at currency exchange offices. The official record high for the dollar in Ukraine was set on June 11 at 44.98 hryvnia, while the euro reached its peak on August 24 at 52.25 hryvnia.
