Oura files for IPO in the US

Finnish company Oura, which sells a smart ring for tracking health status, has filed for an initial public offering in the United States. MarketWatch reports this. The publication notes that the application was filed late on Thursday evening.

Financial performance

According to the S-1 registration document, Oura generated $908 million in revenue in its most recent fiscal year. That year ended on September 30. Compared with $407 million a year earlier, the figure increased by 123%.

During the first nine months of the current fiscal year, the company recorded $1.2 billion in revenue.
