Terms of the deal
Silver Lake is the majority shareholder of Cegid and Silae and will retain this status in the new combined group. The deal requires regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the first half of 2027.
Christian Lucas, managing partner at California-based Silver Lake, will chair the board of directors of the combined company. According to him, Cegid and Silae will be able to offer small and medium-sized businesses, as well as their professional advisers, a suite of software products and AI-based solutions.
