The deadline for using National Cashback funds has been extended

Ukrainians will begin receiving payments under the “National Cashback” program for April starting July 3, 2026. According to a decision by the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture, the deadline for using all accrued funds has been extended through July 31.

The corresponding government changes postpone the return of unused funds to the state budget by one month. This decision covers April payments, fuel cashback, and all previously accumulated funds on users’ cards, allowing citizens sufficient time to spend them.

Along with the April payments, citizens will receive compensation for fuel purchases, which was in effect from March 20 to May 31 as a temporary anti-crisis measure due to rising global prices. The maximum limit for this fuel compensation in April was 1,000 UAH.

Current results of the “National Cashback” program:

  • Number of active users: over 5 million citizens;

  • Participating Ukrainian manufacturers: over 2,000 companies;

  • Registered products: more than 422,000 items;

  • Retail chains and sellers: nearly 1,500 entities.

Important: Any unused funds remaining on “National Cashback” cards after July 31, 2026, will be automatically returned to the state budget.

Currently, the state program continues to operate as usual, and the Cabinet of Ministers recently increased its funding by nearly 800 million hryvnias.

The total amount of “National Cashback” payments is approximately ₴8 billion.

Following inspections in May, the two largest payment terminal networks—EasyPay (FC “Kontraktovy Dom” LLC) and City24 (Swift Garant LLC)—were hit with massive fines: 135 million hryvnias each.
