In Nigeria, Presco approves ₦14.66 dividend per 50 kobo share

In Nigeria, shareholders of agribusiness company Presco at the 33rd annual general meeting approved a final dividend of ₦14.66 per ordinary share with a nominal value of 50 kobo. The total dividend for the 2025 financial year will amount to ₦44.66 per share, Premium Times Nigeria reports, which published the company’s press release.

Financial results

Shareholders also approved Presco’s audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2025. According to the company, its revenue rose by 59.3% to ₦330.6 billion. Profit before tax increased by 57.1% to ₦177.9 billion, while profit after tax grew by 56.1% to ₦121.4 billion.

EBITDA increased by 43.7% to ₦211.8 billion. Presco’s total assets rose by 94.9% to ₦926 billion. The company also completed a ₦236.7 billion rights issue, which, according to the company, more than doubled total equity to ₦442.7 billion.

Acquisitions and board changes

In 2025, Presco completed the acquisition of the remaining 48% stake in Ghana Oil Palm Development Company Limited, bringing its shareholding in the company to 100%. Presco also acquired Saro Oil Palm Limited together with the Nsadop and Boki estates in Cross River State.

Chairman of the board Rasheed Olakanmi Sarumi said the company would focus on integrating operations in Nigeria and Ghana, scaling up and improving efficiency. Chief Executive Officer Reji George named turning business expansion into measurable efficiency as a priority.

Shareholders ratified the appointments of Ademola Adebise, Adewale Arikawe and Francois VanHoydonck as company directors. Rasheed Olakanmi Sarumi, Abdul Akhor Bello, Iquo Ukoh and Osayi Alile were re-elected to the board of directors.
