The manufacturer of "Karpatska Dzherelna" paid a 9.4 million hryvnia fine and changed the labeling
"Carpathian Mineral Waters" LLC paid 9.422 million UAH into the state budget as a fine imposed by the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine for misleading labeling of products under the "Carpathian Spring" brand. The company also complied with all of the regulator’s requirements and revised its labels.
The AMCU identified the violation in March 2026. According to the committee, combining the name “Karpatska Dzherelna” with images of spruce trees, mountains, and a stylized map could create a false impression among consumers that the water is sourced directly from the Ukrainian Carpathians.
In addition to paying the fine, the manufacturer was required to remove the misleading labeling from its entire product line. This applies to lightly carbonated, heavily carbonated, and still water in bottles ranging from 0.5 to 2 liters in volume, as well as products in the “SPORT” format.
In May 2026, the AMCU confirmed that the company had fully complied with the committee’s decision. The regulator also noted the definitive cessation of the violation.

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine fined a number of companies 29 million UAH for collusion in public procurement and distortion of competition.
