Five companies competed for the Morshyn assets: which one offered the lowest price?

Five companies are vying to manage the seized assets of IDS Ukraine, which includes the “Morshynska” and “Mirgorodska” brands. ARMA held the auction on September 7 in three rounds.

The lowest bid was submitted by “Ukrcapital Asset Management Company”—just 0.01%. The other participants submitted the following bids: “Prioritas Law Firm”—0.90%, “Alliance D”—1%, “Asset Management Company ‘Redi-Invest’”—5%, and “Yuvileiny Meat Processing Plant”—10%.

However, the winner has not yet been determined. First, ARMA must review and evaluate “UkrKapital’s” proposal, after which the commission will make a final decision and enter into a contract with the administrator.

IDS Ukraine’s assets have been seized and are linked to sanctioned Russian oligarch Mikhail Fridman. Once transferred to the administrator, they are expected to generate revenue for the state budget.

On August 22, ARMA announced that it had entered the final stage of the competition to select a manager for the corporate rights of IDS Ukraine, a group that includes the producers of “Morshynska,” “Mirgorodska,” and “Alaska.”

A family of British shareholders in IDS Ukraine, which owns more than 34% of the company, has stated its readiness to take the matter to international courts if the Ukrainian government seizes their stake. The dispute arose over ARMA’s attempts to transfer IDS Ukraine’s corporate rights to management and subsequent proceedings regarding the company’s possible nationalization.
