The state agency PlayCity has revoked the license of the lottery operator "Patriot."

It is noted that during the licensing of gambling market operators, law enforcement agencies are involved in inspections to analyze the companies’ activities and their connections.
In this case, the basis for the decision was information provided by the State Bureau of Investigation (DBR). As explained by the agency, the license was revoked due to the ultimate beneficial owner’s failure to meet legal requirements.
Previously, PlayCity established a clear and legal framework for inspecting gambling operators. The regulator will be able to conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections, and players and bloggers now know what they will be monitored for. Over the past six months, inspections have already resulted in fines totaling tens of millions of hryvnias.
The PlayCity State Agency blocked over 2,500 illegal online casino sites in 2025.
