All licensed bookmakers’ payments blocked in Kazakhstan due to new regulations
In Kazakhstan, deposits and payouts of all licensed bookmakers, including Olimpbet, 1xBet, TENNISI and others, have been temporarily blocked until further notice by the National Bank. This halt in payment operations is significant for customers and the country’s betting industry.
These changes follow new legislation coming into effect in autumn 2025, mandating that all transactions be conducted through a unified state system called ESU and approved providers such as Nomapay. TENNISI’s CEO confirmed that not all bookmakers managed to integrate with the updated systems on time, causing payment services to cease entirely. Normal operations are expected to resume after compliance procedures are completed.
This development highlights the challenges the gambling industry faces adapting to new regulatory requirements and may continue until the updated payment infrastructure is fully implemented.
