The Central Election Commission has recognized Denys Pyatigorts as a member of parliament in place of Stepan Kubiv
On May 26, the Central Election Commission recognized Denys Pyatigorts as the elected People’s Deputy of Ukraine from the European Solidarity party, replacing Stepan Kubiv, who died on May 18.
This was reported by the CEC.
Pyatihorets was the next candidate in line on the party’s electoral list, ranked No. 28, in the 2019 snap parliamentary elections.
Following the early termination of Kubiv’s mandate, the Verkhovna Rada submitted the relevant documents to the Central Election Commission, which adopted a decision to recognize the new deputy.
46-year-old Denys Pyatygorets is a native of Zaporizhzhia. He previously worked as a journalist, served as a member of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, was deputy head of the Volyn Regional State Administration, and also ran for the Verkhovna Rada in 2019.
As of now, the European Solidarity faction consists of 25 members of parliament.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the dismissal of Igor Zubovich, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine. This personnel decision pertains to his work within the government team and was adopted during one of the Cabinet’s meetings.
