For the first time since taking office, Zelenskyy is holding meetings with the leaders of parliamentary factions
On May 26, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is holding meetings with the leaders of parliamentary factions and deputy groups—this is the first time such meetings have taken place in this format during his seven years in office.
This was reported by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko.
According to him, the meetings are taking place with the participation of Verkhovna Rada Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk and Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Kirill Budanov.
Among the politicians with whom talks are scheduled are representatives of the “Trust,” “Restoration of Ukraine,” and “For the Future” deputy groups, as well as the leaders of “Batkivshchyna,” “European Solidarity,” “Smart Politics,” and Yuriy Boyko.
According to Goncharenko, this is the first time Zelenskyy has held such talks with the leaders of parliamentary factions since taking office as president.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held an official meeting with Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, who arrived in Ukraine on her first official visit.
The situation on the front lines is currently characterized by stabilization and the strengthening of Ukrainian positions. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. According to him, this was achieved through the active use of unmanned systems, technological solutions, and effective defensive tactics. Separately, the head of state drew attention to statements by Russian “war correspondents,” which, in his words, do not always reflect the actual situation on the front lines.
