Argentina and Switzerland will determine the final semifinalist for the 2026 World Cup

On Sunday, July 12, the national teams of Argentina and Switzerland will face off in the quarterfinals of the 2026 World Cup. The winner of the match will be the last team to advance to the tournament’s semifinals.

The match will take place at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City (USA). Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 a.m. Kyiv time.

In Ukraine, the match will be broadcast live on the Megogo streaming service on the “Football 2” channel. Viewing requires a paid subscription.

Argentina enters the match on the heels of five consecutive wins in the tournament. On their way to the quarterfinals, the reigning world champions defeated Cape Verde and Egypt, and team captain Lionel Messi has scored in every World Cup match so far.

Switzerland has also yet to lose in regulation time at the tournament. In the knockout stage, Murat Yakin’s team advanced past Algeria and defeated Colombia in a penalty shootout.

The winner of this matchup will face the winner of the Norway–England game in the semifinals.

The first semifinalist was determined yesterday at the World Cup. The French national team confidently defeated Morocco 2–0 and became the first team to secure a spot among the tournament’s top four.

Meanwhile, FIFA has decided to sell fans pieces of turf from the stadium that will host the 2026 World Cup final. Prices will start at $450, and the most expensive collector’s sets will cost up to $3,000.
