The Ukrainian national team forward turned down an offer from Cyprus's AEL
Roman Yaremchuk, a forward for Greece’s Olympiacos and the Ukrainian national team, has turned down a move to AEL Limassol.
The Greek club is trying to find a new option for the Ukrainian player to continue his career, as the “Red-and-Whites’” head coach, José Luis Mendilibar, no longer counts on him; however, the forward himself does not want to move to Cyprus.
Currently, the Ukrainian striker has no other options, and a move to one of the top five European leagues is no longer possible due to the transfer window being closed. Yaremchuk spent the past six months on loan at Lyon in France, where he played 14 matches across all competitions and scored five goals. His current contract with Olympiacos runs through the summer of 2028.

Ukrainian forward Roman Yaremchuk was not included in Greek club Olympiacos’ roster for the Champions League third qualifying round match against Dutch club Nijmegen.
Madrid’s Atlético lost to Athletic Bilbao 0–3 in an away match in the fourth round of the Spanish soccer league. South Korean soccer player Lee Kang-in started the game in the visitors’ starting lineup at San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao and was substituted in the 58th minute.
