King Philip VI and Queen Letizia, along with their daughters, attended the Spain vs. France match in the semifinals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Spanish team won 2–0 and advanced to the tournament final.
The Spanish royal family decided to support their team. Although they were not present at the stadium in Arlington, U.S., Queen Letizia and her husband, King Felipe VI, watched the match from home.

They were joined by their daughters, 20-year-old Princess Leonor, the future queen, and 19-year-old Infanta Sofía. The family dressed in matching soccer uniforms and cheered passionately throughout the game.
