Izaki Silva's goal was named the best of the Conference League season
UEFA has released its list of the best goals of the 2025/26 Conference League season. Topping the list is a spectacular goal by 19-year-old Brazilian midfielder Izaki Silva of Shakhtar.
This was announced in the rankings published by the tournament’s press service.
The player scored the tournament’s best goal in the first leg of the Round of 16 against Poland’s Lech. In that match, the Donetsk club secured a 3-1 victory.
Izaki Silva put a spectacular finishing touch on the match with a spectacular overhead kick that sent the ball into the back of the net. It was this very moment that UEFA recognized as the most beautiful goal of the season.
Another Shakhtar player also made it into the top ten. Forward Eginaldu’s goal, which he scored in the semifinal second leg against Crystal Palace, took seventh place in the ranking.
Thus, two players from the Ukrainian club made it onto the list of the most spectacular goals of the season in the Conference League.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian national soccer team will play a friendly match against Poland on Sunday, May 31, as part of their preparations for the fall tournaments.
