Wang Manyu won the women's singles title at the WTT Europe Smash Sweden
Chinese table tennis player Wang Manyu won the women's singles title at the WTT Europe Smash Sweden 2026 tournament in Malmö, Sweden. In the final, she defeated her compatriot Wang Yidi with a score of 4–2, according to ECNS.
Wang Manyu was the top seed in the tournament. Three Chinese players reached the semifinals of the women’s singles competition. In the semifinal matches, Wang Manyu defeated Kui Man, while Wang Yidi defeated Japanese player Miu Harimoto.

In the decisive match, Wang Manyu took the lead early on and held onto it despite her opponent’s attempts to fight back. After the final, she said that her focus and confidence helped her overcome challenges throughout the tournament and win the title.
Thanks to Wang Manyu’s victory, China claimed two titles at the WTT Europe Smash Sweden 2026. The Chinese team won its second title in the mixed doubles competition.
