Apple unveils Apple Watch Ultra 4 with support for the new Siri
Apple has unveiled a new version of its rugged smartwatch, the Apple Watch Ultra 4, at the “Surprise and shine” event. As The Verge reports, the device will be ready to work with the updated Siri AI assistant following the release of watchOS 27.
Updated Siri in watchOS 27
The company showcased a smarter and more functional version of Siri at its annual WWDC conference earlier this year. Support for it will arrive on the latest Apple Watch Ultra models as part of the upcoming watchOS 27 update.
In addition to Siri, watchOS 27 is expected to bring a redesigned app grid, improvements to health and fitness tracking features, as well as optimization of the watch’s battery life.

Successor to Apple Watch Ultra 3
Apple Watch Ultra 4 has become the successor to Apple Watch Ultra 3, which the company released last year. The previous model received longer battery life, support for 5G networks in the cellular version, satellite messaging and emergency calls.
Apple Watch Ultra 3 also featured a slightly larger display thanks to thinner bezels around the screen. The Verge notes that Apple presented the new model as the next version of its durable and rugged line of wearable devices.
