Circular unveils Ring 3 Pro and Slim with NFC payments
Smart ring manufacturer Circular has unveiled the Ring 3 series, which includes the Pro and Slim models. Both devices will feature a built-in NFC chip for contactless payments and vibration alerts on the finger for alarms and reminders, TechCrunch reports.
Ring 3 Pro features
The Ring 3 Pro has a thinner body than the previous model. The ring is equipped with an FDA-cleared ECG for detecting atrial fibrillation, as well as functions for tracking blood pressure and glucose level trends, advanced sleep analysis, and comprehensive biometric monitoring.
According to Circular, the Ring 3 Pro will operate for up to 12 days without recharging. The manufacturer claimed up to seven days of battery life for the previous model.

More compact Slim version
The Ring 3 Slim is thinner and lighter than the Pro and is designed for basic health and wellness tracking. It will track sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen saturation SpO₂, skin temperature, and daily activity. The claimed battery life of this model is up to 10 days.
Vibrations in both versions can be used for silent wake-ups, medication reminders, important health notifications, and guided breathing exercises. Both rings are made of titanium steel, are water-resistant to 50 meters, support wireless charging, and will be available in sizes 6 through 14.
The Ring 3 Pro and Ring 3 Slim will be offered in gold, rose gold, silver, and black. Circular said that pricing and preorder information will be announced over the coming months, while the devices are expected to launch in early 2027.
