Clicks has begun shipping the Power Keyboard for $99
This summer, the startup Clicks Technology began shipping its MagSafe-compatible Power Keyboard, a slide-out physical keyboard. The device currently costs $99, and as of last week, the company had shipped 75% of pre-orders from its first batch to customers, according to TechCrunch.
The Power Keyboard attaches to a smartphone via MagSafe or Qi2 and connects via Bluetooth. For phones that don’t support these technologies, users can use an adhesive magnetic ring or a case with a magnetic profile. The keyboard slides out, adjusts to fit different smartphone sizes, and, according to Clicks, works in both portrait and landscape orientations. It also features adjustable LED backlighting.
Unlike the previous Clicks keyboard case, this new model is equipped with a built-in 2,150 mAh battery. It can wirelessly charge devices compatible with MagSafe and Qi2. In the Clicks app, users can disable wireless charging or reserve part of the charge for the keyboard itself.

The device measures 119.7 × 76.6 × 15.2 mm and weighs 180 grams. During TechCrunch’s testing, the keys were found to be tactile and comfortably spaced. However, when used with large smartphones—such as the iPhone 17 Pro Max and Pixel 10 XL—the design made the device heavy at the top and less comfortable to use in portrait orientation. The publication noted that with larger models, it’s easier to start using the keyboard in landscape orientation.
The Power Keyboard supports customizable key combinations, cursor control mode, backlight settings, and quick actions. In particular, you can assign Apple Shortcuts to individual keys for making calls, sending messages, turning on the flashlight, and other actions. The keyboard can also be used with tablets, smart TVs, and AR/VR headsets that support external Bluetooth keyboards.
The device is a precursor to the Clicks Communicator smartphone with a physical keyboard, which the company plans to begin shipping later this year.
