One-third of workers in Ukraine fear being replaced by artificial intelligence
About one-third of Ukrainian workers express concern that their jobs could be replaced by artificial intelligence. At the same time, 69 percent of those surveyed do not feel anxious about this.
This is according to data from a Rating Group survey conducted as part of Gallup International’s “End of Year” global study.
According to the study’s findings, salaried employees are more likely to be concerned about technological advancements than self-employed individuals. Among the self-employed, 78 percent feel calm, while among the unemployed or those on parental leave, the anxiety level reaches 40 percent. Ukraine currently ranks among the top ten European countries with the most optimistic outlook on the implementation of artificial intelligence in work processes.
The global survey covered over 60,000 respondents in 61 countries worldwide, and in Ukraine, the study was conducted via telephone interviews with a sample of 1,000 people. Sociologists note that residents of the Netherlands, Germany, and Northern European countries also demonstrate a similar level of calm regarding labor automation. The data was weighted to account for current statistics to ensure representativeness by age and gender.
