A similar situation occurred last year with certain color variants of the iPhone 17 Pro, when Apple recognized this as a warranty issue and replaced the devices. For now, owners are advised to keep their smartphones in closed cases to protect the metal from direct sunlight while the manufacturer, as expected, prepares to launch a free replacement program.
