Andriy Yermak is demanding an independent review of his case

Andriy Yermak, the former head of the President’s Office, stated during the court hearing that he was interested in a transparent and impartial trial.

This was reported by a UA News correspondent directly from the courtroom.

Yermak emphasized that he does not intend to use his influence or connections to avoid accountability.

“It is important that justice be independent, free from influence. I want to set an example by showing that I do not take advantage of this,” Andriy Yermak emphasized during his conversation with the press.

The former head of the Presidential Office noted that he has recently felt significant media pressure surrounding the preparations for the trial.

However, he added that he feels the support of many people who continue to express their respect and trust in him.

An unexpected turn of events during the hearing was the appearance in the courtroom of former intelligence officer Roman Chervinsky. The military officer officially petitioned the court to include him in the case file as a witness for the prosecution.
