Biosphere will reduce its product range following the destruction of its warehouse in Dnipro
The "Biosphere" Corporation plans to remove some items from its product lineup following the destruction of its warehouse in Dnipro as a result of a Russian strike. This includes products with low sales and low profit margins.
Following the strike, Biosphere’s production facilities were switched to round-the-clock operation. The company’s other warehouses currently hold approximately three weeks’ worth of inventory. The company plans to redirect the freed-up resources toward priority product categories.
At the same time, disruptions have also occurred in retail chains, some of which have also lost warehouses as a result of Russian attacks. Some retailers have asked “Biosphere” to deliver products directly to stores, bypassing distribution centers.
The company is also seeking additional warehouse space and logistics partners to stabilize supply.
Iryna Nesterenko, Biosphere’s vice president of operations, told LIGA.net about this.
