The State Bureau of Investigation denied any involvement in blocking the investigation into Sukhachov's brother
The State Bureau of Investigations stated that it has no connection to the lawsuit that led the court to ban the publication of investigative materials regarding the assets of Alexander Sukhachov, the brother of the SBI’s head.
Earlier, the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv issued a ruling restricting the Anti-Corruption Action Center and the agency “Slidstvo.Info” from disseminating information regarding this investigation. The bureau emphasized that it did not initiate the court proceedings.
DBR’s Response
“Neither the DBR, nor the DBR director, nor members of his family have any connection to the filing of a motion for preliminary relief or the corresponding lawsuit in general (if such a lawsuit was even filed),” the Bureau stated.
This is stated in the DBR’s response to a media inquiry from “Radio Svoboda.”
As a reminder, the court banned the publication of an investigation into the real estate holdings of the DBR chairman’s brother.
