The Dollar Is Falling — The NBU Announces the Exchange Rate for September 28

The National Bank of Ukraine lowered the official exchange rate for the dollar on Monday, September 28. The U.S. dollar fell by 13 kopecks, while the euro rose by only 1 kopeck.

 

The National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rates for Monday, September 28. According to the NBU, the U.S. dollar will be worth 44.84 hryvnia. This is 13 kopecks less than the rate set on September 25—44.97 hryvnia.

The euro, on the other hand, rose slightly in value. Its exchange rate increased by 1 kopeck—from 51.12 to 51.13 hryvnia. Thus, as of September 28, the official exchange rates will be:

• 1 U.S. dollar — 44.84 UAH;
• 1 euro — 51.13 UAH.

The new official exchange rates will take effect on Monday, September 28. This is according to data on the National Bank of Ukraine’s website.
