Former head of the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines to face trial for failing to declare a house

The case of Roman Isaienko, the former head of the State Service for Medicines and Drug Control, has been referred to court. He is accused of concealing assets in his financial disclosures. According to the investigation, the official failed to disclose a house in the Kyiv region that is registered in the name of his wife’s parents but is actually used by the family.

This information was reported on May 11 by the international investigative bureau Absolution Leaks.

The defendant did not include information about the house in the Kyiv region in his annual declarations for 2022–2024. This property was purchased in January 2022 and registered in the name of the defendant’s wife’s parents. However, investigators determined that the head of the State Service for Medicines and Drug Control and his wife were the ones actually using the house.
