The death toll from the Russian Federation's massive strike has risen in the Kyiv region

In the Kyiv region, the death toll from the Russian Federation’s massive attack on July 6 has risen to eight, while the number of injured has reached 48. 

According to Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, 20 wounded people are currently hospitalized, three of whom are in critical condition and doctors are fighting to save their lives. The highest number of casualties was recorded in the Bucha district—35 people—and residents of the Boryspil, Brovary, and Fastiv districts were also injured.

Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko and State Emergency Service Chairman Andriy Danik visited the affected area. As a result of the enemy shelling, dozens of private homes—out of more than 200 that were in the epicenter of the attack—were damaged or completely destroyed. Rescue teams and local authorities quickly organized an evacuation: about 50 residents were transported out at night in armored vehicles, and a total of more than 500 residents were temporarily relocated to safe areas. At the sites of destruction, particularly in Vyshneve, firefighters continue to extinguish fires and clear debris with the help of K-9 units and specialized equipment.

Across Ukraine, as of this evening, 22 deaths have been confirmed, and another 87 people have been injured, including seven children, four rescue workers, and one police officer. In Kyiv itself, where July 7 has already been declared a Day of Mourning, 15 people were killed and 58 were injured. More than 1,000 rescue workers and police officers have been mobilized to address the widespread damage caused by the enemy strikes, according to Ukrinform.

The death toll in Kyiv has risen to 15.

Three pharmacies belonging to the 9-1-1 chain in the Kyiv region were damaged by the Russian attack.
