In the Odesa region, a woman was illegally smuggling men into Moldova
In the Odesa region, operatives from the Podilsky Detachment detained a 29-year-old woman from the Odesa region who was attempting to smuggle two men of draft age to the Transnistrian segment of the Ukrainian-Moldovan border in a Renault passenger car.
This was reported by the State Border Guard Service press office.
According to law enforcement, the woman was working with the administrator of a Telegram channel who coordinated her actions and recruited clients. Potential “passengers” had prepaid $6,300 each to the organizer’s crypto wallet, which was supposed to cover their transportation to the border.
The men arrived in Odesa, where the accomplice dressed them in military uniforms and drove them to the border. However, law enforcement disrupted the plan—the escape route ended sooner than expected.
The vehicle and mobile phones were seized. The woman was charged and placed under house arrest as a preventive measure. Administrative reports were filed against the men, and the cases were referred to court.

Previously, law enforcement officers had uncovered and dismantled two channels for the illegal smuggling of men across the state border.
Additionally, a court ordered the seizure of over 48 million hryvnias from an official at the environmental inspection agency.
