A new industrial park will be established in Khust, Transcarpathia
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has included the “Khust” Industrial Park in the Register of Industrial Parks. The new industrial site is planned to be established within the Khust community in Zakarpattia Oblast.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, the project is expected to attract over UAH 1.2 billion in investments and create 538 jobs.
The industrial park will cover an area of over 18 hectares. Its concept involves the development of electrical engineering products and solutions for the energy sector.
The park plans to develop:
the production of electrical equipment;
cable product manufacturing;
manufacturing of electrical installation devices;
technologies for alternative energy.
Friendly Windtechnology initiated the creation of the industrial park. The project involves the use of circular economy principles and modern eco-friendly production technologies.
Inclusion in the state register provides access to support mechanisms, particularly for the development of engineering and transportation infrastructure. Park participants will also be able to utilize state incentives to launch industrial production.
For Zakarpattia, this means the emergence of a new industrial site focused on high-tech manufacturing and the export sector.
As of now, 117 facilities are included in Ukraine’s Register of Industrial Parks. By the end of 2025, 37 industrial enterprises had already been built or were under construction in such parks.
Industrial parks in Ukraine can receive up to 150 million UAH in support.
