Millionaire Kateryna Rudnyk May Head the Prime Minister's Office

Kateryna Rudnyk is a candidate for the position of Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of Ukraine. She currently heads the office of the chairman of the board of NAK “Naftogaz of Ukraine,” where the newly appointed Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi worked until recently.

According to the Register of Declarations, on July 21, Rudnyk submitted an electronic declaration for 2025 as a candidate for the position of head of the Prime Minister’s Office. According to the document, her total income for the past year amounted to 3.81 million hryvnias. The largest portion of this amount—2.5 million hryvnias—came from her salary at NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine.”

Rudnyk also received salaries from the companies “Ukrnafta” and “UkrTatNafta” when they were headed by current Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi. At “UkrTatNafta,” she worked as an assistant to the director.

The declaration states that the candidate has cash savings totaling 200,000 UAH, 16,000 U.S. dollars, and 5,000 euros.

Her declared assets include a 36.9-square-meter apartment and a plot of land in the Cherkasy region. She is also a co-owner of a 56.4-square-meter apartment in Rivne.

As a reminder, Koretsky invited Lithuanian Prime Minister Sinkevičius to visit Ukraine.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi announced plans to streamline the work of the state apparatus and make governance more efficient. He instructed officials to strengthen coordination between agencies and oversight of the implementation of government decisions.
