Companies will be able to temporarily retain employees with accounting irregularities
Companies that supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other military units, or are critical to the economy and the public’s livelihood during this special period in the defense-industrial complex may now temporarily reserve employees with an unregulated military registration status—for up to 45 days—through the “Diya” portal.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.
The Ministry of Defense notes that the goal of this initiative is to enable defense enterprises to more quickly recruit the necessary specialists who can benefit the front lines. The temporary reservation is valid for a period during which the employee must update their information and resolve their military registration status.
The enterprise submits an application through the “Diya” portal; the system verifies the employee’s data and checks whether they have received a temporary reservation within the past year. Important: for this, the employee must be registered for military service. If all conditions are met, a temporary reservation is issued.
Once the employee has resolved their military registration status, the employer will be able to issue a standard reservation. The procedure for determining the status of critically important enterprises has not changed.
“The service was launched in accordance with the Law of Ukraine ‘On Mobilization Preparation and Mobilization,’” the Ministry of Defense noted.
Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision to expand the criteria for determining enterprises, institutions, and organizations that are critically important for meeting the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In addition, manufacturers of transformer equipment in Ukraine will be able to exempt 100% of their employees from mobilization.
