Weather in Ukraine on September 25: Where to Expect Rain and When It Will Get Warmer
On Friday, September 25, the weather in Ukraine will begin to gradually improve. There will be less rain, and daytime temperatures will rise slightly in many regions. At the same time, the weather in Ukraine will remain quite cool at night.
According to meteorologist Natalka Didenko’s forecast, the cyclone that has caused significant precipitation in many regions in recent days is gradually shifting north and northwest.
According to Natalka Didenko, mostly dry weather is expected on Friday, September 25, in the central, eastern, and southern regions of Ukraine.
In some places, there may even be sunny spells.
“There may even be sunny spells,” the expert clarified.
At the same time, light rain on September 25 is most likely in the western and northern regions of Ukraine, as well as in some parts of the Vinnytsia region.
As the precipitation subsides, the air temperature will begin to rise.
“As I promised, the air temperature will begin to rise,” said Natalka Didenko.
According to her forecast, daytime temperatures in most regions will range from +15 to +19 °C, while in the south, temperatures will reach +20 to +22 °C.
It will be coolest in western Ukraine, where temperatures are expected to range from +12 to +16 °C.
At the same time, it will be cold at night across virtually the entire country—+5...+10 °C.
“Although it will be very cold at night—+5...+10°C—virtually everywhere in Ukraine,” the specialist noted.
The meteorologist humorously advised Ukrainians to prepare for the chilly nights:
“Warm blankets, warm pajamas, throws, and fluffy cats—these are a priority.”
According to the forecast by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, in the coming days—September 26 and 27—weather conditions across Ukraine will generally improve.
Most regions will see mostly dry weather.
However, on September 27, brief showers are possible in some areas of the eastern and southeastern regions.
On average across Ukraine, air temperatures will be:
- at night – +4...+11 °C;
- during the day – +14...+21 °C.
In the southern and eastern regions on September 26–27, daytime temperatures may rise to +15 °C or higher, depending on the region.
A warming trend is also expected in Kyiv on September 25. According to Natalka Didenko’s forecast, daytime temperatures will be around +15...+17 °C.
No significant precipitation is expected in the capital. At the same time, light rain may occur at times in the Kyiv region.
“Except for occasional light rain in the region,” the meteorologist noted.
Nataliya Didenko also reminded viewers that fall does not yet mean a sudden transition to cold weather:
“There’s still plenty of green grass and green leaves on the bushes and trees, and we’re still a long way from complete darkness and treacherous black ice.”
On September 26 and 27, daytime temperatures in Kyiv may hover around +19 °C. Nighttime temperatures in the capital are expected to range from +9 to +10 °C.
Thus, in the coming days, it will become slightly warmer in Ukraine, with less precipitation, and the most comfortable daytime temperatures are expected in the southern and parts of the central regions.
On Wednesday, September 24, heavy rain is expected across Ukraine. In Kyiv, daytime temperatures will be around 13–15°C.
