A court in Lviv has extended the hearing in the case of the murder of Andriy Parubiy
The Frankivsk District Court of Lviv continued the preliminary hearing in the case regarding the murder of Andriy Parubiy, a member of the Ukrainian Parliament and former Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada.
The hearing addressed procedural issues necessary for the further consideration of the case on its merits.
During the hearing, the judge heard motions from the prosecution and defense regarding the procedure for examining evidence.
It is important to ensure a thorough and impartial investigation into all the circumstances of the tragedy that befell a politician of such stature.
According to official data, law enforcement agencies have conducted extensive work to gather evidence.
Currently, the stage of coordinating technical details is underway, which will allow for a detailed examination of the investigation materials.

On August 30, 2025, the National Police reported that Andriy Parubiy, a prominent Ukrainian public and political figure, had been killed in Lviv.
DNA test results confirmed the identity of Mykhailo-Viktor Stselnikov, a serviceman of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade “Kholodny Yar,” who went missing in May 2023 during fighting in Bakhmut.
