Tymoshenko claimed that NABU used Russian software in her case
Yulia Tymoshenko, leader of the "Batkivshchyna" party, stated that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) used Russian software during the forensic examination in the case against her.
She made this statement during a briefing following the court hearing.
According to her, the forensic analysis of the audio recordings was allegedly conducted using the Justiphone software suite, which she claims is linked to Russian intelligence agencies.
Tymoshenko believes that the use of such software may indicate Russian interference in the investigation and poses a threat to national security.
She also stated that the use of Russian-origin software, in her words, is prohibited by Ukrainian law.
The politician expressed hope that the High Anti-Corruption Court will take these arguments into account during the hearing of the case.
NABU returned the seized funds to Tymoshenko
As a reminder, the court is considering Tymoshenko’s appeal against the seizure of her property.
The court also lifted the seizure of some of Yulia Tymoshenko’s and her husband’s property.
