Fuel Prices in Ukraine: How Much Do Gasoline and Diesel Cost at Gas Stations?

As of September 30, 2026, Ukraine’s largest gas station chains had not changed their fuel prices. The average price of A-95 gasoline is about 90.06 UAH per liter, and diesel fuel is 99.20 UAH per liter.

At Ukraine’s largest gas station chains, prices for gasoline and diesel remained unchanged compared to the previous day.

The most expensive fuel is currently offered by the OKKO, WOG, and SOCAR chains. At the same time, the lowest prices are traditionally found at “BRSM-Nafta” and “Ukrnafta” gas stations.

After prices fell in early summer, the Ukrainian market faced a sharp increase in gasoline and diesel prices in late July. In August, the price increases gave way to stabilization, and wholesale prices for diesel began to decline.

Experts note that the retail market reacts to changes in wholesale prices with a certain delay.

“Prices rise quickly but ease much more slowly,” explained expert Mykhailo Gonchar.

Ukraine is heavily dependent on petroleum product imports, so Ukrainian gas stations primarily follow the situation on the European market.

The final cost of fuel is also influenced by purchase prices, logistics costs, exchange rates, inventory levels, and demand.

Russian attacks on Ukraine’s port infrastructure remain an additional factor. Due to damage to the ports, some maritime shipments must be replaced with overland routes, which increases the cost of fuel delivery.

Thus, as of September 30, fuel prices at Ukraine’s largest gas stations remain stable, although their future trends will be influenced by the situation on the European petroleum products market, exchange rates, logistics, and wholesale prices.
