In Cherkasy, on Volodymyr the Great Street, an incident occurred during public alert drills in which a driver deliberately struck a representative of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center. After the collision, the offender continued driving with the soldier on the hood of his vehicle without stopping.
This is stated in an official report from the Regional Recruitment and Social Support Center.
The injured soldier was promptly taken to a hospital for a medical examination and to receive necessary treatment. Police officers immediately arrived at the scene and are currently investigating all the circumstances and details of the offense. The agency emphasized that such unlawful actions against military personnel entail severe liability under current Ukrainian law.
