A 43-year-old man has died in Dnipro; according to media reports, he was beaten at a regional recruitment center. He had been in a coma for several days following severe injuries. His family is demanding an investigation and punishment for those responsible.

 

A 43-year-old man died in a hospital in Dnipro; according to local media, he was beaten at a regional recruitment and social support center. According to journalists, the incident occurred on March 2. Representatives of the recruitment center stopped the man on the street, checked his documents, and sent him to a military medical commission. After that, he was sent to the regional recruitment center.

His relatives claim that during the medical examination, his fitness for service was determined solely based on data from the “Helsi” medical service. According to them, the worst happened after that. “On the way to the Magdalynivka Regional Recruitment Center and while he was there, Yevhen was brutally beaten. He suffered multiple fractures, a severe head injury, and damage to his internal organs,” journalists report, citing his relatives.

 

After the beating, the man fell into a coma. He was placed on a ventilator and transported to Mechnikov Hospital. The man died on March 8. According to preliminary information, the cause of death was trauma from a blow with a blunt object. The deceased’s family and loved ones are demanding a full and transparent investigation. They insist on establishing all the circumstances of the incident and punishing those responsible. Currently, no official detailed comments from law enforcement or representatives of the TCC regarding this situation have been released.

Additionally, in Vinnytsia Oblast, embezzlement of 5.6 million hryvnias in hospital procurement was uncovered.
