The Lviv Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support has suspended a military official suspected of possible misconduct in record-keeping. According to the investigation, the official may have entered false information into the "Oberig" registry, which contains records and mobilization data on citizens.
The Lviv Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support announced this on Facebook.
"Regarding the information circulating on social media concerning the exposure of a military serviceman from the Zolochiv Regional Recruitment and Social Support Center who entered false data into the 'Oberig' registry, we report: (...) for the duration of the investigation and the determination of a preventive measure, the aforementioned military serviceman has been suspended from his official duties," the statement reads.
The command of the regional TCC assured that they are cooperating with the investigation and urged citizens to report similar offenses to law enforcement.
