Naftogaz has appointed a new chief financial officer

The Supervisory Board of NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” has appointed Pavlo Liverтовskyi as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer and a member of its Management Board. The decision was made as part of a management team overhaul and efforts to strengthen the group’s finance division. The new CFO has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance and strategic management.

Livertovsky has extensive experience in corporate finance, financial controlling, and business valuation. “Livertovsky has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, strategic management, financial controlling, and business valuation. He has worked at international consulting firms and in the Ukrainian corporate sector,” according to a statement from Naftogaz.

The company clarified that the new CFO specializes in financial modeling, business planning, and managing large-scale corporate projects in various industries, particularly the energy and financial sectors.

It is also noted that Liverovsky holds a master’s degree in economics with honors from Tel Aviv University. Previously, the duties of CFO were performed by Taras Pasazhko, who will continue to serve as deputy CFO. Naftogaz noted that the group’s consolidated profit for 2025 amounted to 5.83 billion hryvnias. The company itself announced the appointment on Tuesday evening.

The Naftogaz Group, in coordination with the government, will provide financial assistance for the restoration of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and the Oleksandr Dovzhenko Film Studio, which were damaged as a result of the Russian Federation’s massive attack on Kyiv on the night of June 15.
