Pyshny could have known about the money laundering scheme through Sense Bank - People's Deputy
People's Deputy Danylo Getmantsev stated that the National Bank's response to the violations uncovered at Sense Bank was appropriate, though, in his opinion, it came too late.
Getmantsev claims that NBU Governor Andriy Pyshnyy allegedly knew about the money-laundering scheme at the bank and failed to take the necessary measures earlier.
The lawmaker also suggested that Iryna Mudra, whom he described as a close associate of Pyshnyy, may have been involved in the scheme, and mentioned his ties to Vasyl Veselyi and six top executives at Sense Bank, whom he described as“linked to the NBU governor.”
Separately, Getmantsev accused the NBU leadership of ignoring, in his words, financial monitoring violations at Sense Bank amounting to billions.
In closing, the lawmaker stated that he is demanding the resignation of Andriy Pyshnyy.
At the same time, the allegations made by Getmantsev represent his personal position and do not imply that the individuals mentioned have been found guilty.

Separately, the head of the NBU noted that Sense Bank’s supervisory board currently lacks a quorum and is therefore not authorized to act. The regulator emphasizes the need to complete the board’s composition by appointing state representatives from the Cabinet of Ministers and the relevant Verkhovna Rada committee.
JSC “Sens Bank” appears in the case files of the “Forest Gump” case as one of the channels through which funds were transferred in connection with the payment of a 150 million hryvnia bail for former Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko. This was reported on August 19 by People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, who disclosed details from the investigation materials.
Danylo Getmantsev, chairman of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax, and customs policy, categorically denied any involvement in attempts to gain control over Sens Bank or in the new criminal proceedings by NABU and the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO).
