In Truskavets, a parked car ran over a driver
A fatal traffic accident occurred in Truskavets, Lviv Oblast: a parked car rolled down a slope and struck a 36-year-old driver. The man died at the scene from his injuries.
The accident occurred on September 15 at approximately 8:20 p.m. in Truskavets.
According to preliminary reports, the 36-year-old driver of an Opel Vectra parked the car on a sloped section of the road but failed to secure it against rolling.
The car then began rolling down the slope on its own.
The driver attempted to stop the rolling vehicle but was struck by it.
As a result of the accident, the 36-year-old driver sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
Law enforcement officials are currently investigating all the circumstances of the fatal accident.

As a reminder, Oleksiy Glushych, a servicemember of the National Guard of Ukraine, whose 12-year-old son Hryhorii died in a high-profile traffic accident in Kyiv, appealed to members of parliament to increase penalties for dangerous traffic violations.
The parents of Hryhorii Hlushych, who died in the accident, called on the authorities to urgently improve road safety.
In Kryvyi Rih, a 12-year-old boy died after being struck by a judge at a crosswalk.
