The Ukrainian military has received its first batch of domestically produced buggies

Ukrainian units have begun actively deploying the new ATC BOLT 1000 light infantry vehicles, which were developed and put into mass production by the Ukrainian group of companies GROUND FORCE

This tactical logistics vehicle was created in close collaboration with military personnel to address critical gaps in “last-mile” logistics.

The first batch of highly maneuverable vehicles arrived at the front this spring and has already received initial positive feedback from crews and combat medics operating in extremely challenging combat conditions.

The need for such transport arose due to the enemy’s widespread use of unmanned aerial systems and FPV drones, which has expanded the danger zone to 30–50 kilometers from the line of contact.

Traditional trucks and standard off-road vehicles, due to their large profiles, became easy targets for the enemy’s reconnaissance and strike systems.

The delivery of the ATC BOLT 1000 has effectively replaced heavy equipment on the front lines, saving soldiers’ lives and ensuring uninterrupted delivery of cargo through forest strips and mud without the risk of getting stuck.

Military personnel were directly involved in all stages of the vehicle’s development, testing, and refinement into a production model.

Based on the results of testing at military ranges, GROUND FORCE specialists included an additional front cargo compartment and roof rails in the configuration. This allows for better distribution of the payload weight for the anti-tank missile system, ammunition, and UAV.

A windshield and windshield wiper were also integrated into the buggy, which dramatically improved the driver’s visibility when navigating obstacles at speed.

The new Ukrainian platform offers significantly greater tactical flexibility than ground-based robotic systems or civilian ATVs.

A ground clearance of 350 millimeters and 4×4 all-wheel drive with differential locks allow it to confidently traverse swamps and sand, bypassing exposed roads.

An 85-horsepower engine, combined with a vehicle weight of 968 kilograms, provides high performance for quickly crossing open areas under fire.
