Ukrenergo has announced whether there will be power outages in Ukraine on April 14
No electricity consumption restrictions are planned for tomorrow, April 14, in Ukraine.
This is stated in an official announcement by NPC "Ukrenergo." The power grid is operating stably, but experts are urging citizens to follow guidelines for the rational use of high-power appliances to maintain grid balance.
Energy officials are asking consumers to shift the use of energy-intensive devices (washing machines, electric ovens, water heaters) to daytime hours—from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.—when the system has a power surplus. At the same time, the recommendation to conserve energy during the evening peak hours—from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM—remains in effect to avoid overloading the equipment.
The situation in the power grid remains challenging due to constant Russian attacks on generation and distribution facilities, as evidenced by recent reports from Ukrzaliznytsia and other major consumers. Despite the absence of blackout schedules, repair crews continue round-the-clock restoration work on damaged sections. Following Ukrenergo’s advice helps energy workers maintain grid stability without resorting to forced restrictions.
On April 13, power consumption restrictions for industry were introduced across Ukraine.
Ukraine is once again implementing power outage schedules due to a power shortage in the grid caused by the effects of Russian attacks.
