“Ukrzaliznytsia” changes train routes due to Fastiv

Due to the massive shelling of railway infrastructure in Fastiv, “Ukrzaliznytsia” is promptly changing the routes of passenger trains that were supposed to pass through the city tonight.
This was reported by “Ukrzaliznytsia” on Telegram.

During the massive strike on Kyiv Oblast, the Russian army shelled the city of Fastiv. In particular, the railway infrastructure was damaged.

As a result, “Ukrzaliznytsia” is forced to change the routes of passenger trains that were supposed to pass through Fastiv.

“Safety of people is above all. Delays are currently controlled, and our dispatchers will take care of possible transfers,” the “Ukrzaliznytsia” statement said.

Passengers were asked to carefully listen to announcements from railway staff at stations and on trains. The company assured that train traffic is not being stopped.

The Russian army attacked Ukraine on the night of December 6. Alongside a massive drone raid, the enemy used ballistic missiles and Kinzhal missiles, with reports of strikes at least in Fastiv near Kyiv, Dnipro, and surrounding regions.

As a result of the massive drone and missile attack on Kyiv Oblast, three people were injured, reported the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk.

In Vyshhorod district, a woman was hospitalized in the local hospital with shrapnel injuries to her arm, chest, and back, and a closed injury to the cervical spine.

Another 40-year-old woman sustained a laceration to her cheek. She received aid on-site without hospitalization.
