Zelenskyy met with commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a series of meetings with commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during which they discussed the situation on the front lines and the coordination of the Defense Forces’ operations.
In particular, Zelenskyy met with Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatiy and Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Volodymyr Horbatyuk. The president did not disclose details of the talks, but emphasized the importance of effective coordination among all components of Ukraine’s defense forces.
“It is important that the expertise of all components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces be applied in a coordinated manner,” Zelenskyy noted.
Separately, the president held a meeting with Andriy Biletsky, commander of the Third Army Corps of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. According to the head of state, the conversation focused on the operational situation in the sector and the further strategy for Ukrainian troops.
“As always, the briefing provided a thorough overview of the situation in the sector. I appreciate the comprehensive perspective on Ukraine’s prospects on the front lines and the strategy for action,” the president said.
Acting Minister of Defense of Ukraine Yevhen Khmara also participated in the meetings.

As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held meetings with experienced military commanders, during which they discussed the situation on the front lines. The parties also reviewed the future strategy for conducting the war and decisions regarding the development of the army.
On July 20, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Secretary of State of the Holy See, Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher. The parties discussed support for Ukraine, the Church’s activities, peace initiatives, and the country’s European integration.
