ATESH reported heavy losses suffered by the Russian Federation's 127th Division in the Zaporizhzhia region
The “ATESH” movement reported that thousands of soldiers from the Russian Federation’s 127th Division, which is participating in the offensive in the Zaporizhzhia direction, have been killed or are missing in action. According to the movement, more than 9,000 soldiers have been wounded, though this information has not been independently confirmed.
The Russian 127th Motorized Rifle Division, whose units are advancing in the Southern Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia sectors, has suffered thousands of casualties, and cases of desertion and suicide have been reported among its soldiers. This was stated by the “ATESH” movement, citing internal division documents it obtained, according to UNN.
According to “Cyber-ATESH,” the Russian unit’s internal reports mention thousands of dead and missing in action, as well as more than 9,000 wounded servicemen.
The movement also claims that the documents document numerous instances of desertion and suicides among Russian soldiers.
“ATESH” stated that it compared the obtained documents with information from open sources and the results of other studies on the casualties of the 127th Division’s units. According to the movement, significant discrepancies were found between the internal reports and the estimates derived from this analysis.
The group speculates that official internal statistics may not reflect the true scale of the division’s losses. At the same time, there is currently no independent confirmation of the data published by “ATESH.”
